This surge protector does not have a center mounting screw. If you have an older style outlet with center face plate screw, when you unplug something, the surge protector comes off unplugging everything. This nuisance causes a reset of things you did not intend to unplug such as timers. For GFI outlets and designer outlets without center screw mounting faceplate. This surge protector is a good choice.

Great product and you can plug in many products and not worry about anything.

I didn't notice that there was no screw to permanently attach this to the outlet. This is pretty standard these days do I did not even consider it. And since it only has prongs on the top there was not enough friction to keep it from wiggling around or coming out when I pulled out a plug from it. Terribly annoying as they cheaped out on one of the cheapest parts that would have made this product perfect. The back was even *nearly* recessed enough to cover the outlet and cover. Put on a screw, recess it more and you have a winner.

Item did not work from the beginning, you can only have a couple of items plugged into it then it stops working. They will take it back but charge a restocking fee and we have to pay for the return as well. For the price of the item you would think it would work or they give you your money back.
